  • Annualized Maximum Harvest / Max Harvest / Max Harvesting

The Economy’s automated monthly calculation, of a Participant's annualized, all-time maximum CROP Harvested, during any rolling 12-month period. This calculated figure is a Participant’s Annualized Maximum Harvest (“Max Harvest”) figure. The Max Harvest figure is calculated by:

    • (a) taking the cumulative amount of CROP Harvested over the prior 12-month period and dividing that cumulative figure by 12 to determine the average Harvest figure for that prior 12-month period; then
    • (b) that 12-month average Harvest figure is compared with the current high-water mark (the current highest Max Harvest for a Participant since joining the Economy) to determine whether an Increase in Economic Activity has occurred; and
    • (c) if the current 12-month period’s average Harvest figure is equal to, or lower than the current high-water mark, then no increase in Economic Activity has occurred; however
    • (d) if the current 12-month period’s average Harvest figure is higher than the current high-water mark, then an Increase in Economic Activity will have taken place; and/or
    • (e) if the current month’s Max Harvest figure is higher than the current high-water mark, then a new Max Harvest is set. When a new Max Harvest is set, the difference between the new (higher) Max Harvest and the prior (lower) Max Harvest represents the amount of Increase in Economic Activity.

However, that change does become effective immediately for new Buyer Participants who join the Economy after the Seller changes their Default Seller Royalty Agreement to reduce the percentage of CROP Harvested.

The amount of CROP Harvested from Sales Transactions is defined by a Buyer’s and/or Seller’s Royalty Agreement. The CROP Harvested is then transferred to, and stored in the Economy CROP Storehouse. Once a month, the Economy converts the CROP to Seed and calculates the allocation of Seed. This Seed is then distributed to the current Yield Right owners based on their level of Cultivation of the corresponding Squares.

  • Increase by percentage

An established percentage, defined by a Buyer in their Royalty Agreement, which is used to calculate the amount by which the Base Transaction Price, of a Sales Transaction, is to be increased. This provides a new purchase price for that Sales Transaction, according to that Royalty Agreement.

An established Royalty Agreement percentage, of 10%, on a Sales Transaction, with an initial purchase price of $100, would increase that purchase price to $110 ($100 x 10% = $10 + $100 = $110).

Buyer Royalty Agreement percentages may be changed at any time by the Buyer and this becomes effective immediately. Such defined changes are only permitted to be expressed by no more than two decimal places, such as 0.01% (0.01% is the lowest limit which a Buyer may select).

  • Increase by rounding up

The scalar used to round up the price of a Base Sales Transaction Value to the transaction’s nearest whole scalar amount.

For example, if a Buyer were to set a scalar value of $1.00 then the scalar would round up the price of a Base Sales Transaction Value of £111.32 to $112.00. If a scalar value of $25 was implemented on the same $113.32 transaction then the scalar would round up that price to $125. The difference between the Seller’s asking price and the Buyer’s new scaled up Sales Transaction Value price becomes Harvested CROP and is contributed to the Economy CROP Storehouse.

The Buyer may change the scalar at any time. The scalar may be defined to any number that can be expressed with no more than two decimal places (such as $0.25).

Until redeemed, the reward discount point is the holder’s digital record of a right to a discount when Buying goods or services from a Participant in the Sweet Economy™. Each reward discount point is equal to a discount worth of one unit of a designated form of cash to be used in a future purchase. For reasons of simplicity, a Participant's Seed Credit is recorded using the same number of reward discount points as the discount value, the reward discount points are synonymous with the corresponding units of designated cash which a Participant has indicated they wish to use when Buying goods or services in the Sweet Economy. Participants may convert the number of reward discount points to another unit(s) of cash (for example, USD to GBP), to be redeemed with a future purchase, whenever they wish.

For example, if a Participant conducts most of their Buying in USD, they would indicate they want each Seed Credit to be equivalent to the discount’s worth in USD. Therefore, 10 of their Seed Credit, redeemed for a USD purchase discount, would result in a $10 discount when redeemed with a purchase worth more than $10.

The Sweet Commerce™ Incentives system automatically converts the Seed Credit redeemed by the Buyer, to cash, for the Seller, when the Buyer completes a purchase by making payment.

A Participant may give Seed Credit to any Participant within the Sweet Economy™, however the recipient of such gift receives only Seed Credit, not cash.

Participants may not sell their Seed Credit. Seed Credit is simply a right to a discount which is provided as a reward for Buying within the Sweet Economy™, which is designed to encourage more Buying within the Sweet Economy™.

Unlike various national government passports the information contained within the e-Citizen’s e-Passport is encrypted and under exclusive control of the e-Passport (e-Citizen) holder. An e-Passport may also be used to generate a unique identifier that can be used to identify the e-Citizen e-Passport holder to another e-Citizen and/or LP-Entity. Although each of the identifiers issued to a counterparty is unique, there is no single identifier or ID for the e-Citizen.

Claim Proofs are verified and are digitally signed by an s- Administrator who provides a cryptographically signed verification of the information. These Claim Proof Verifications can be used by the e-Citizen e-Passport holder to prove information about themselves without revealing the information, such as the age of the e-Citizen.

Legitimate possession of an officially issued e-Passport permits the e-Citizen holder a possibility of receiving a perpetual right to own virtual property in the Economy, such as Squares.
